A little help for your journey.

SpaceNap brings quiet cinematic space journeys to your own chair. Here’s how to settle in, find your controls, and make the experience comfortable.

Begin a journey

Choose Cabin for a surrounding observation lounge, or Space Window to keep your room visible beside your other apps. Customize your journey, adjust your preferences, and select Enter Cabin or Open Space Window. SpaceNap requires visionOS 26.2 or later.

Bring back the controls

In the shared Space Window, select Controls to reveal pause, motion, Main menu, and End journey. In Cabin or the older immersive window, look toward the window or open space beyond it and pinch to reveal controls. Pause stops travel; End journey closes the journey.

Place your Space Window

The shared Space Window uses visionOS placement controls. Move and position it alongside your other apps; it stays open until you close it. The older immersive window placement experience is available under Customize journey. That mixed-immersion path has different app-coexistence behavior and may hide other apps while it is open.

Adjust motion and light

Open Comfort to choose Low, Minimal, or Off for motion and adjust brightness and cabin lighting. Motion Off holds the journey view still. Stay seated in your own comfortable chair, and pause or end the session whenever you like.

Listen your way

Built-in cabin ambience works without a subscription or internet connection. Choose silence, or add optional Apple Music from Music & sound. Music requires an active Apple Music subscription, an internet connection, and permission to access Apple Music. The journeys themselves do not require a music subscription.

If a song cannot play, check your connection and Apple Music subscription, open Apple’s Music app once to finish any account prompts, or choose another song available in your region. Use the Digital Crown or Control Center for system volume. Cabin ambience stays off while Apple Music owns playback, including when music is paused.

What’s included?

The paid app includes Solar System and interstellar space journeys, both environments, built-in ambience, and comfort controls. The U.S. price is $3.99. Local app prices are shown by the App Store. Version one has no in-app purchases, ads, or SpaceNap subscriptions, and no SpaceNap account is needed.

These are cinematic journeys that compress time and distance. Planetary imagery and geometry combine source material with artistic reconstruction; they are not a scientific simulation or live positions.
